Matt Rennie
Matt is a Co-Chief Executive Officer of Rennie, based in Brisbane.
Between 2012 and May 2021, Matt was a Senior Partner with EY’s Global and Australian Strategy and Transactions businesses. During that time, he held the roles of Global Leader of Power and Utilities Transactions, Global Leader of Government Transactions, Partner of Economics, Reform and Policy, Strategy Partner, and Australian Leader of Power and Utilities. He worked across Australia, the Americas, Europe, Africa, Asia, Russia and the Middle East, advising on strategic, commercial, energy reform and business transformation engagements across a range of sectors. Prior to joining EY, Matt was Managing Director of Energy Advisory Services, a regulatory and commercial consulting firm, which was acquired by EY in 2011. Matt holds a Bachelor of Economics, a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment, and a Masters of Economics (research).
