Tim Eddy, Chairman
Tim Eddy has more than 30 years’ experience in leading and managing in professional services environments, including as Managing Partner Operations, Oceania at EY. He has expertise in global and national transformation and change, developing new service offerings and growth strategies for business operations, risk management and governance best practice, and driving sound financial outcomes. Tim holds several non-executive board positions with The Red Fox Group, Racing Victoria Ltd, Magenta Linas Pty Ltd, and Rennie Advisory.

Simone Rennie, Co-Chief Executive Officers (Enablement and Transformation, Rennie
Simone is the Co-CEO at Rennie, principally responsible for the firms overall brand positioning, vision, culture and maturity of the operating model through its growth phases. She is also responsible for and leads the ESG and Policy & Reform service lines. She has devised and led the firm’s expansion of its support functions of HR, risk, finance and operations, and has driven the firm’s maturity journey on its system and processes to both enable and transform the firm from a small to a medium national integrated business.
Simone is an experienced advisor across the energy, water, ports and Government sectors, having spent several years in a management position within the Australian Energy Markets Operator, and 8 years prior to that as a governance and policy adviser to companies throughout Australia and South East Asia on economics, regulatory and policy matters. Prior to that, she held senior management positions with the Queensland Government, the London Development Agency and in the water sector.
Simone’s experience in professional services formally began in 2013 when she joined EY Australia. In her 8 years with EY, she occupied roles within both the Australian business and the global business, and worked extensively across all layers of the firm as an Executive Director in the Australian Strategy & Transactions service line and Global Sector Resident for Power and Utilities in Strategy & Transactions. Simone led the training for Managers on consulting skills in Australia for a number of years, and was a member of the EY NextGen program.
Simone holds a Bachelor of Law and a Masters in Governance from the University of London.

Matt Rennie, Co-Chief Executive Officers (Markets), Rennie
Matt is the Co-CEO at Rennie, principally responsible for the firms Markets and Accounts functions. He has over 30 years experience as a corporate adviser and as a leader in professional service organisations.
From an advisory perspective, Matt has advised utilities, Government and investors on strategic and commercial matters relating to the energy transition since 1994, both domestically and around the world. He led EY’s Power and Utilities business in Australia for 10 years between 2012 and 2022 and led the Global Power and Utilities business within one of the four EY service lines, Strategy and Transactions, for 8 years between 2014 and 2022. Matt also led the global markets and accounts function within that service line across EY’s 16 sectors of focus. His energy sector expertise is unparalled, having advised global companies such as National Grid (UK), RWE (Germany), EoN (Germany), TNB (Malaysia), DEWA (UAE), PLN (Indonesia), CFE (Mexico), TEPCO (Japan), and KEPCO (Japan) on energy reform matters. He has advised almost every company operating in the Australian energy market over the past 25 years, and has worked with AEMO, AEMC, and the AER over that time.
Matt is an experienced leader in professional services, beginning his consulting career in KPMG in 2000, and then co-founding Network Advisory Services which was restructured and rebranded as Energy Advisory Services in 2008 and sold to EY in 2011. Matt was then a Partner in EY for 10 years, holding line partner positions, sector leader positions and solutions development and implementation positions at Australian, Asia Pacific and Global levels. Matt was part of the Partner team leading training for Senior Managers on consulting skills across Asia Pacific and EMEIA between 2014 and 2021, and was part of the selection team for new Partner admissions in EY for much of that period. He was a member of the Australian firm ELT between 2014 and 2017.
Matt holds a Bachelor of Economics (CDU), a Graduate Diploma of Applied Finance and Investment (SIA) and a Masters of Economics (Research) from the University of New England.

Tom Mathews, Managing Director, Pemba
Tom is a Managing Director at Pemba. Tom has over 20 years of experience in private equity, principal investment, investment banking and middle market advisory and valuations.
Tom has led several transactions across the platform investments of ReadyTech, Marque Group, Open Office, ONCALL, RxPx, Vets Central, Acis, Aurizn, the subsequent bolt on acquisitions and partnerships of many of these partner companies, and the exits of ReadyTech (IPO), Marque Group (trade sale) and Open Office (trade sale).
Tom joined Pemba from Sovereign Capital, the UK ‘Buy & Build’ specialist private equity fund, where he focused on investing in mid-market consolidators in the healthcare, education and business services sectors. Tom successfully completed over 50 buy and build transactions.
Before Sovereign Capital, Tom was with the Investment Banking Group at Macquarie Bank Limited, which focused on principal investment opportunities across a variety of sectors. Prior to Macquarie, Tom gained substantial transaction experience at Deloitte Corporate Finance both in Sydney and London.
Tom is a CFA charter holder, a member of the Sydney CFA Society, and also has a Masters of Applied Finance and Investment from FINSIA and a BSc (Honours) degree in Management Sciences from the London School of Economics.

Jonathan Holding, Investment Director, Pemba
Jonathan is an Investment Director at Pemba. Jonathan has over 15 years of private equity, venture capital and investment banking experience. He currently sits on the Board of Rennie, ConnellGriffin and CTRL Cybersecurity.
Jonathan joined Pemba from Limerston Capital, a UK based mid-market private equity fund, where he was an Investment Director and spent over 5 years investing in the business services and technology sectors. Before Limerston, Jonathan worked with UK Growth Equity investor Kennet Partners and PFM Cornerstone, a Sydney based venture capital firm. He started his career in the Mergers & Acquisitions team at Deutsche Bank in Sydney.
Jonathan holds a Master of Business Administration (Distinction) from London Business School, a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Information Systems from Melbourne University.
