Phillip Vrettakis
Phillip is an Executive Director with Rennie, based in Melbourne.
Phillip is an accomplished Energy and Utilities leader with over 17 years’ experience leading strategy, commercial, and operational improvement programs with a focus on infrastructure and renewables to support the energy transition.
His expertise spans strategy development, business case analysis, asset management, strategic sourcing, commercial development, market entry assessment, portfolio reviews, and market and competitor analysis. He has extensive industry experience in energy networks (electricity and gas), renewable generation (onshore and offshore), energy storage, retail strategy and operations, distributed generation (CER and off-grid), and water utilities. He advises corporate and government clients on optimising the transition to net zero.
Before joining Rennie, Phillip spent seven years at Nous Group, recently leading their power and utilities offering. Prior to that, he spent ten years at AusNet Services, where he led strategy and transformation programs in electricity transmission and distribution.
Phillip holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical and Electronic) from Victoria University and an MBA from Melbourne Business School (University of Melbourne).
