Angus Mival
Angus Mival is a Senior Consultant with Rennie, based in Melbourne.
First joining Rennie in 2021, Angus brings experience in energy policy and regulatory reform – supporting the analysis and design of energy market policy, regulation, and programs for markets both in Australia and the Middle-East. Angus has advised various government and non-government organisations on market design, transmission, connections, and REZ-related regulatory matters.
Angus has also spent some time in the Corporate Strategy team at AEMO, supporting the development of the long-term vision for Australia’s independent energy market operator. Whilst at AEMO, Angus was also responsible for the development of AEMO’s yearly Corporate Plan and subsequent quarterly reporting.
Prior to joining Rennie, Angus worked within the legal industry across private practice and community legal centres. Angus also interned at the Export Council of Australia, supporting research programs and the drafting of submissions on several trade policy matters.
Angus holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and Bachelor of Business (International Business) from the Queensland University of Technology.
