Gary Eisner
Gary Eisner is a Senior Manager with Rennie, based in Sydney.
Prior to joining Rennie, Gary spent three years at AEMO working across the Regulatory and Stakeholder Engagement teams, and two years in the Channel Islands where he worked for the Government of Jersey in a regulatory advisory role.
Gary has extensive experience in the analysis and design of energy market regulation, policy and programs in both Australian and overseas energy markets and has significant experience advising various government and non-government organisations on transmission, connections and REZ-related regulatory matters, as well as analysing the regulatory and operational requirements of emerging markets and technologies, including battery and hybrid facility integration in the NEM, and the integration and interoperability of distributed energy resources (DER). Gary also spent 12 years working for the Energy Division of the NSW Government developing policies and regulatory frameworks to drive the transition to renewable energy. Gary provides deep regulatory and market reform advice across electricity and gas generation, networks and retail markets.
Gary holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Masters of Environmental Management.
