Rennie is partnering with UK based Compare Your Footprint

This new partnership, a first in Australia for the UK based B Corp Compare Your Footprint, will see Rennie significantly upscale its client offerings in the GHG and ESG measurement and reporting space.

Rennie’s ESG Leader, Arvind Sharma and Managing Director, Simone Rennie announced the partnership today. The powerful digital diagnostic tool will help to identify the environmental, social and governance (ESG) health of a business and provide valuable insights to inform decarbonisation pathways.

“Our partnership with Compare Your Footprint marks an exciting milestone in our mission to help organisations across many different industries navigate and optimise their transition to a net zero, sustainable future,” said Ms Rennie. “This is a key plank in our FY24 strategy, expanding our service offerings into mass market measurement, reporting, and decarbonisation strategy. Together, we will be empowering businesses of all sizes to make a real impact, and to take meaningful steps towards building a sustainable tomorrow.”

Arvind Sharma said the firm undertook a comprehensive global assessment of ESG digital tools, and identified the UK based Compare Your Footprint as a cutting-edge and audit ready diagnostic tool that can quickly pinpoint actionable and practical solutions. “With this partnership we are well positioned to support businesses to benchmark carbon performance against their peers and develop a robust decarbonisation roadmap supported by rigorous carbon reporting. Carbon inventories developed with this tool will be compliant with the GHG Protocol, Science-Based Targets, and the National Greenhouse and Energy Reporting Act,” Sharma added. The tool can measure an organisation’s carbon footprint across its entire operations including supply chain, projects, products, and events, covering Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions.

Will Richardson, the London based Founder and CEO of Green Element, said, “We love working with like-minded, purpose-driven organisations and we are excited to work with Rennie Advisory in Australia  – a firm committed to the transition to net zero and making a real impact with its client work.”  He added, “We are more than just a carbon calculator, and with the launch of Compare Your Footprint, the Rennie team will be able to significantly reduce the cost of carbon emissions assessment for businesses.”
